The property has a reasonable level landscape with 17,000* acres of Boondarra darker soil being Belah, Brigalow melon hole country interspersed with reddish Kurrajong, Box Sandalwood country. 1200* acres were cutter barred in 2018 with the majority of the balance stick raked, and regrowth poisoned. This country is densely grassed with predominately Buffel, Mitchell and Flinders grasses along with herbages.
There are 1000* acres of Tartulla Creek country which floods out in larger floods.
The balance is red loam country being Box, Sandalwood with areas of Ironbark and Mulga.
2000* acres of this is pulled with some of it raked. This country is later developed and has established Buffel grass.
Vegetation map has 18,488 acres category X and 4797 category B, 3000* acres of the category B is in two clumps being Mulga, Box, Ironbark country and along the creek the
balance is mostly scattered shade clumps throughout the property.
A Share Bore located on the property and has an electric start Yanmar diesel motor with a Mono pump. The bore pumps two ways; into an earth tank which feeds bore drains connected to the dams and to a Rhino tank which feeds to poly tanks which then feed to cement stock troughs. Boondarra has 11 Earth dams for stock water plus Tartulla Creek provides semi-permanent water holes.
The fencing on Boondarra is nearly all new in the last ten years with most of the property enclosed in an exclusion fence, with approx. 8 km to be completed, which will encompass the whole property in two sections.
