Country
Southern area consists mainly of soft red country with areas of sandhills growing a variety of palatable native pastures and edible timber. The sandhills carry herbages such as Parakelia and Pigweed in season.
Mostly lightly timbered with Buffel grass introduced along the numerous watercourses.
The Northern section comprises of open plains timbered with areas of Mulga & Gidyea, red & brown soils and growing Mitchell, button, Mitchell grass and local native pastures.

Water
There are 29 bores equipped with a mix of mills, solars, and motors pumping from 33m-60m deep, delivering between 2,250 & 5,400 litre/hour. Over the past 3 years there has been 13 new 53,000 gallon galvanised Pioneer tanks installed.
