'Gleneden' has an excellent balance of country comprising of 4.8km of double frontage to the Ward River with Coolabah River flats, 3,874ha (9,572.65acres) approximately of Mitchell grass downs country, a further 3,543ha (8,754.75acres) approximately of developed Brigalow and Gidyea country with excellent stands of buffel grass and 400ha (988acres) approximately that has been blade ploughed and seeded to improved pasture. The remaining 4,056ha (10,018acres) of country is a mixture of Brigalow, Gidyea, Yapunyah, Coolibah, Sandalwood with areas of Mulga ridges. There was recently 1,800ha (4,447.8acres) approximately of
Brigalow and Gidyea regrowth that was pulled in March 2009. The dominant Grasses on the property include Mitchell, Buffel, Blue grass, White Spear, Flinders and Herbages in seasons.

Water
There is access to a bore on the northern boundary of 'Gleneden', located on 'Brumich' that supplies water through 14km of poly pipe supplying 7 tanks and 14 troughs. A water
agreement is in place with 'Brumich' for use of water from the bore. There are 6 stock dams ranging in size from 5,000 to 10,000 yards. 'Gleneden' also has 4.8km of double frontage to the Ward River with semi permanent water holes.
