SOLD PRIOR TO AUCTION

By Nyree Reushle

“KURRAJONG”- Mulgowie Valley, South East Queensland

“Kurrajong”, a quality fertile 102 acre lifestyle property located in the stunning Mulgowie Valley, has sold unconditionally prior to its scheduled auction.

The appointed agent, Barry Quinn from Ray White Rural Brisbane, negotiated the sale price of $1,000,000. The buyers are a Brisbane based couple.

The Mulgowie Valley, 90 minutes from Brisbane and 60 minutes from both Toowoomba and Ipswich, is a spectacular valley with a definite end. The Mulgowie Valley ends where the Little Liverpool Range meets the spectacular mountain peaks and escarpments of World Heritage Listed Main Range National Park (including Mount Castle and the Mistake Mountains) and the Great Dividing Range.

The farm has more water than will ever be needed. There is approximately 500 metres of creek frontage, and an excellent bore allows 35 acres to be irrigated.

The lovely four bedroom homestead was constructed in 2012 and has stunning views from an elevated position. The original farmhouse (Circa 1954) has two bedrooms and a sleepout.

The improvements are excellent and include a large shed, all steel cattle yards and excellent fencing.

17 groups (from the 42 enquiries) inspected the lifestyle farm over the four weeks of marketing. Interestingly the property had previously been listed with local agents for over 18 months with just two inspections over that time. What a difference good marketing makes!

The very happy owners are moving to Tasmania in the coming months.

The owners appointed Barry Quinn (0409 828 342) from Ray White Rural Brisbane to market and sell the property.
